Green light given for the construction of the new office building “Narbuto 5”
Vilnius city municipality granted a permission to UAB “E.L.L. Nekilnojamas turtas” to build the Business Residence “Narbuto 5” – a modern class A office building in T. Narbuto street on the right bank of the river Neris. The six-storey 5100 m² office building will rise in the perfect location – close to Vilnius transport arteries, shopping and leisure center Panorama, and at the same time just a step away from the calm Zverynas district. It is planned to start with construction by the end of this year, and first tenants will be welcomed in the beginning of 2017. The total investment of the project is approximately 9 million euros.
“The market is very active with many new office building projects being developed in Vilnius. We call “Narbuto 5” Business Residence, because company interests and employee needs will be equally respected here. Seeking to create comfortable and healthy working conditions, we are developing this project in compliance with BREEAM – the world’s leading design and assessment method for sustainable buildings,” said Vaiva Trepkutė, Sales Manager at UAB “E.L.L. Nekilnojamas turtas”.
The building architect Gediminas Paslaitis successfully accomplished “Narbuto 5” (www.narbuto5.lt) developer’s vision to design Business Residence fulfilling both business and individual needs. The key features of “Narbuto 5” – strategic location, modern architecture, optimal building size and excellent visibility, “built to suit” office space, and advanced technology solutions. The Business Residence value-added amenities include a cozy café, active leisure room with showers, bicycle storage rooms, and special parking lots for electric cars.
“Narbuto 5” construction site preparation works have already been initiated. The building developers strive to achieve harmony with the environment from the very beginning; the oak tree growing on the land plot was carefully transferred to the courtyard of the Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences and granted to the University. This is the biggest ever replanted oak tree in Lithuania.
BREEAM certificate is being granted for the buildings that account for the least adverse impact on the environment through the entire life circle, paying special attention to high energy efficiency. The assessment involves all the building development stages starting from the project design to the end of construction. The BREEAM “Very Good” rating will stand for pleasant, efficient, and sustainable environment at the Business Residence “Narbuto 5”.
