Panorama, modern leisure and shopping centre, to open on 7 November will offer Vilnius residents and guests alike over 170 places of commerce and service, with over twenty introduced for the first time in Lithuania. The shopping centre sits in Zverynas, adjacent to busy city streets and ranks among the biggest shopping centres in the capital city, unique due to its underground parking lot, biggest in the Baltic States, as well as unique architectural and installation solutions.
“We gladly invite s residents and guests alike to the leisure and shopping centre of new quality. We do believe this project, exceptional on the scale of the Baltic States, will serve an example of European quality, a popular meeting place, offering enjoyable shopping or simply a place to pass time”, as Gediminas Tursa, general manager of E.L.L. Nekilnojamas Turtas, the developer, puts it.
To his mind, Panorama is exceptional with the attention placed on convenience, which was kept on particular focus: from the very architectural concept of light and spacious centre, to truly original solutions. By way of example, there is not a single repeating piece throughout the arched spatial Panorama bay window, 94 meters length. According to Gediminas Kazlauskas, general manager of Merko Statyba, company behind the building of Panorama, “It is the architectural and construction solutions in Panorama that account for exceptional leisure climate for an active city dweller. This is the leisure centre that exceeds all other in Lithuania and the Baltic States, due to its share size, construction, engineering and building solutions.
Furthermore, environment was a particular concern: in the course of building Panorama, concept of underground parking lot was selected, further 17 million litas invested to arrange and widen T. Narbuto and other streets. Furthermore, underground pedestrian crossing is installed; it can also be used when installing an adjacent metro line. Should Vilnius city decide so, infrastructure adjacent to Panorama is ready to this modern transport.
“What we want our visitors to experience is the feeling of city life, which is why the centre offers garment collections showing the very latest fashion trends, new restaurants as well as interesting ways of entertainment”, as Raimondas Bureika, the manager of Panorama puts it. What is of particular importance, to his mind, is the ease for Panorama visitors can access the right place; for that purpose, goods and services are all conveniently located, with as many as 6 lifts and 26 escalators installed.
Those coming to Panorama by car will find a modern flow control system to assist them in finding free places in two-level underground parking lot, a 1,500 place capacity in total. From the lot, Panorama will be accessible by both lifts and escalators. There is a separate lift to take you from the parking lot right to the restaurants in the third floor.
With the convenience of the visitors in mind, the names of the floors in the shopping centre reflect the shops featured and leisure opportunities. Further to widely-known shops and trade marks, Panorama will offer some new faces. The first floor features shops for family and home, including Mothercare, Bambizzi and Chicco shops, offering goods for children, and seen for the first time in Lithuania. There is shopping centre Hyper Rimi adjacent as well as Douglas, perfume and beauty shop, biggest in the Baltic States, with the area of 600 square meters. Those up to quiet break will surely visit Pegasas book shop, offering books while savouring a Coffee Inn cup of coffee.
Most of shops situated on the second floor of Panorama, known as Mados Ziedas (fashion circle), offer stylish and modern garments and accessories. This is where Guess and Ralph Lauren shops are introduced for the first time. A wide range of garments is featured by Tom Tailor, EDC and JBC, as well as accessories by Parfois as well as Mango Touch shops. Those looking for comfy underwear will surely drop by Jockey, and those with quality footwear in mind, to a long standing Lloyd shop. There is also an entertainment area on the second floor, with a closed track of power carts, the first of its kind in the country. On the third floor at Panorama, visitors will be welcome at Brazil Rodizio Grill steak bar, Gan Bei, the first oriental restaurant in Vilnius, and Kybynlar, a widely popular Trakai-based kybyn restaurant.
The new centre will suffer no shortage of pleasant surprises: the main square in the new centre welcomes the visitors by unique vision of Vilnius panorama, developed by photograph artists with the area in excess of 100 square meters. The vision of Vilnius, consisting of hundreds of photos, combines areas of historical old town and those of modern business centres alike, with a number of largely familiar buildings appearing side by side, still set in unexpected spaces.
Furthermore, Panorama shopping centre will feast a festival throughout the opening week-end, offering concerts of popular performers and bands for the visitors. There is a special Tabami project, Panoraminis Miestas (panoramic city), to rock the stage of Panorama Friday night, and various competitions and entertainment to take place on Saturday will be rounded up by most impressive project of music, dance and fashion; this is when the latest city fashion trends will be brought to you, in the environment of music by Inculto and Happy Endless.
The investment of E.L.L. Nekilnojamas Turtas, the developer of Panorama leisure and shopping centre in the project amounts to 270 million litas. Merko Statyba, a national building company, is behind the Panorama project.
