Kapitel the most competitive small and medium-size company in Estonia
In the competition for the most competitive companies in Estonia, Kapitel was awarded the title of the most competitive small and medium-size company (SME) for the second year in a row and the title of the most competitive real estate company for the fourth time. A total of 1,618 Estonian companies participated in this year’s competition organised by the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, including more than a thousand companies in the SME category.
“Kapitel has clearly been the most competitive among real estate companies for many years, even in the complicated situation of the past year, which brought uncertainty to the entire real estate sector. The sustainability and competitiveness of the company is also evidenced by the fact that development work continues both in Estonia and other markets,” said Mait Palts, Director General of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The purpose of the competitiveness ranking is to promote the competitiveness of Estonian companies and thereby foster economic growth. The ranking highlights the most successful companies. The ranking is a good opportunity for successful companies to introduce themselves to the public and thereby further strengthen their competitive position.
The Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has compiled the competitive Estonian companies ranking since 2003. Companies are ranked on the basis of their economic indicators. These are: sales revenue, net profit, equity, number of employees and labour costs for the past two financial years. Data analysis and compiling the rankings was conducted by the Estonian Institute of Economic Research in cooperation with the Institute for Management Development in Lausanne.
