Kadrija Pudova will become the Managing Director of Spice shopping complex

Kadrija Pudova will take over the position from longtime Managing Director Iveta Lāce and become the Managing Director of Spice shopping complex as of 20 December 2018. Spice has continuously increased its turnover and is working on development projects of the complex to keep and strengthen its position among the strongest shopping centres in Riga.

„On behalf of Supervisory Board of Spice shopping complex we wish to thank Iveta Lāce for her very significant contribution to the growth and development of our company. Directed by her, the shopping complex Spice has become one of the leading and most preferred shopping centres in Latvia, it has achieved the highest international and local recognition winning the International Council of Shopping Centres ICSC award for the best marketing campaigns, and for several years, it has been ranked among the TOP 100 most valuable companies in Latvia. Iveta has managed Spice shopping complex since the very first years, under her leadership Spice Home has been developed and several Spice extensions completed, all of which have successfully started up and strengthened Spice complex as a whole. We are saddened to see Iveta leave but we are grateful for her strong efforts in developing shopping centre Spice since 2002. We wish Iveta every success in her future endeavours,” said Taavi Ojala, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Spice complex.

“I am pleased with what the Spice complex has achieved by now. It is a customers’ most-loved shopping mall as well as the most effective shopping complex with the highest sales per square metre. Over the past seven years, the turnover of tenants of the complex has been constantly growing. In tandem with the Spice team, we have managed to create a different, unique mix of brands by attracting a good number of store brands, not represented in other shopping malls. I think that Spice today is at the peak of its development history, and all preconditions have been provided for its further successful growth. Spice has assembled and is led by a really committed top management team, and, therefore, I believe this is a suitable time for me to hand over the management to my successor, and to meet new personal and career challenges. I would like to thank the team, wishing the new leadership a fresh vision, boundless energy and good intuition for the implementation of further development plans,” said Iveta Lāce.

Kadrija Pudova has worked in Spice from the beginning of 2012 as a Marketing Manager and thereafter as a Lease Manager, knowing very well Latvian retail market, Spice team and tenants. We wish Kadrija success in her new position.

“I am honored to accept the Supervisory Board´s offer to lead shopping complex Spice, its team and development. I believe Spice is well-positioned and has the power and means to successfully face market challenges next years and strengthen its position more than ever,” said Kadrija Pudova.
