Duntes biroji complex is planned to be opened

Today, on 8 November, the Duntes Offices developed by the Company E.L.L. Nekustamie Ipasumi will be opened. Total area of the complex is 19 000 square metres and EUR 16 million have been invested in this project. Several international companies, including Statoil, Samsung and Ericsson, as well as well known local Latvian companies have established new offices in this complex.

Director of E.L.L. Nekustamie Ipasumi Edgars Miluns acknowledges:   “The decision regarding development of an office building was made three years ago, taking into consideration the poor offer of office premises in Riga. One of the main advantages of the Duntes Offices is its location – it is easy to access the building without entering the crowded centre. I would also like to emphasize the modern and visually attractive architectural solution of the building that ensures both high functionality and comfort. I believe that the best evaluation for the Duntes Offices is agreements concluded with almost 50 tenants, as well as the 2nd place received in nomination The Best Office Building Project 2007 in the contest The Best New Project.”

In fifteen years “Latvija Statoil” has grown into one of the biggest companies in Latvia. As well as the number of employees has grown and more expansive premises were needed for performing the required functions. For example, premises for the arrangement of Statoil Academy training and several simultaneous meetings are needed. Taking into consideration that we often have colleagues visiting from other Statoil countries, there was also a necessity to arrange work places for guests. We care about the work environment of our employees and the possibility to arrange modern, convenient and ergonomic premises with the possibility to relax, with the planned library and terrace offering a wonderful view to Riga,” Communication Specialist of Latvija Statoil Ilze Rassa says, “The solution offered by Duntes Offices was the best for our requirements though I must say that in the beginning we were concerned about its location.” The development of the Riga City will allow tenants of the Duntes Offices to feel as if we are in the centre of the city.”

Next to the representation offices of well known global companies and famous local companies, developers of the building – Company E.L.L. Nekustamie Ipasumi also established their office in the new Duntes Offices building, in its turn a cafeteria for employees named “Cafeteria No. 55” (“Ednica Nr.55”) with 110 seats is established by the Company Banketu Serviss, services of which are already appreciated by employees and visitors of the Saules Akmens and Arena Riga buildings.

The building is developed as a two-part seven-storey building with a large glass atrium. Hospitalu iela and the State Military Hospital Park encircle the building from Northern side, but the Southern windows of the building open the view to the industrial panorama of Duntes iela and Skanstes iela. Tenants and visitors will be provided with wide car parking possibilities both in underground parking lots and parking lots located within the territory of the building.
